besiidka is a design studio where taste meets material.

Nikola Chromečková and David Hotárek work at the intersection of food and product design. From edible installations made of creams and chocolate to metal and glass objects – their practice moves between fleeting experiences and lasting artifacts.

They collaborate with gastronomy producers as well as local makers, exploring new ways of sharing and storytelling through textures, materials, and flavor. 

Their individual debut took place at Designblok 2023, and together they won second place in the Best in Design 2024 competition.
